In March 2016, WNS was found in Washington state. Wanderlust Tours is committed to cooperating with state and federal agencies, as well as conservation groups, to provide information to the public on the value of bats and the threat posed by WNS. Some of our Bend-area caves serve as winter hibernaculum, and we will not visit these caves. We operate year-round cave tours in caves where our bats do not hibernate. WNS does not affect humans in any way. Learn more about WNS in the United State here.

Lakeside Concert with Bend Camerata

Wanderlust Tours is proud to present the another installment of our Art in Nature outdoor performance series! Super talented local a cappella group Bend Camerata performed at one of our favorite lakeside locations.

We hiked through beautiful terrain to arrive at the lake’s edge, with views of amazing lava flows surrounding crystal clear waters and forested vistas. There, we witness a spectacular 10-person a cappella performance and basked in the beauty of the natural world!

After the concert we enjoyed locally produced wine from Naked Winery while mingling with Bend Camerata members and soaking in some sun.

Mountain Lake Paddling Tour + Mountain Concert

DPT26631.jpg

Wanderlust Tours, IN A LANDSCAPE: Classical Music in the Wild, and Mt. Bachelor were proud to partner for a one of a kind day immersed in nature.

Hunter performed with a 9-foot, 1912 Steinway Grand piano perched at 8,100’ on the side of a volcano, with shimmering lakes and a carpet of forest stretching below.

We started the day by adventuring our the Cascade Lakes Highway and kayaking a mountain lake. Then, arrived at Mt. Bachelor and enjoyed IN A LANDSCAPE a stunning piano concert at the edge of a stratovolcano, and finish the day with dinner served on the lofty perch of Mt. Bachelor.

This was an incredible event we’ll remember forever!
