Comparing our Cave Tours
All of the caves that we explore on our different tours are wild lava tube caves, formed thousands of years ago by volcanic activity!
As these caves are wild caves, it means that there are no paved paths or lighting in the caves (we outfit each guest with a helmet and headlamp). The terrain varies from cave to cave, some involving more uneven terrain, rocks to scramble over, etc. and some offering a more flat, sandy bottom with rocky terrain here and there.
