ABOUT THE TOUR

A peaceful morning paddle exploring the waters of a spectacular mountain lake with our naturalist guides will enliven the senses and provide natural inspiration for the artist within.  Back on land, staring at the 3rd tallest peak in Oregon as the water laps up on the shore, artist Tracy Culbertson will help you to put that inspiration onto paper in this beginning watercolor class!  

This event will be led by Art in the Mountains owner, Tracy Culbertson

With the guidance of from an incredible artist, and step by step instruction, everyone (no matter the skill level), will learn, grow and capture an iconic Oregon landmark.

Tracy is the owner of Art in the Mountains and has had the privilege of studying with many world masters. Prior to this she was a high school art teacher, drama teacher, health teacher and physical education teacher. She left her teaching career in 2008 to purchase and run this amazing art workshop organization. She also served nine years in the Army from 1981 to 1990, has sold real estate for five years and delivered the Bend Bulletin when she was in the fifth, sixth and seventh grades. Watercolor is Tracy’s passion, though she also enjoys all art, nature, travel, dancing and live theater.
