ABOUT
Adventure: Join us for this unique Lunar Eclipse Cave + Camp adventure! This experience includes a subterranean hike, naturalist guided interpretation and beer tasting - plus a spectacular full moon rise and Lunar Eclipse.
Naturalist Guided Experience: This will be stunning! Our professional guides will explore one of our 700 local caves, highlighting this geologic wonder and the importance it has for wildlife and humans from past cultures. We will time our exit of the cave to greet the full moon’s rise on the eastern horizon. Around our campfire, locally crafted brews from our partners at Silver Moon Brewing will accompany our heavenly observations prior to slipping into the sleeping bag. Then, holy buckets, the eclipse will happen near 4:00am!
The Lunar Eclipse: The sun, earth and moon will align in the early morning hours. A wake up call will precede the moment these orbs pass one another. Get the tri-pod set up, the camera positioned and wait for nature’s incredible, synchronous display of wonder. With nature’s unique show having warmed our soul, breakfast burritos and hot coffee will warm our physical body. We’ll depart our campsite with time to get to school or work if you choose. Who else at the office will have had such an incredible morning?
