ABOUT THE TOUR

Adventure: Wanderlust Tours is the premier destination for Canoe tours in Central Oregon! Join us on this special paddling tour on one of the most stunning lakes in all of the Cascades.

Naturalist Guided Experience: Canoeing is the ultimate means to experience this area! Our journey will begin in the crisp, fresh morning air. As the Canoes enter the glass-like waters of Clear Lake, one cannot help but feel an immense amount of peace and respect for the beauty and serenity of Mother Nature. Much like the lake itself, the geological history of Clear Lake is full of surprises and wonder just waiting to be discovered! On our journey, we will explore and learn about the basaltic lava flows which damned this lake, inundating a forest whose ghostly skeletons remain frozen in time! A walk on the shore under giant firs will top off the experience.

Tour Time & Pickups:
Five Pine: 8:00am - Front desk
Black Butte: 8:15am - Lakeside Activity Center parking lot

Transportation: Departing from Five Pine Lodge and Black Butte Ranch

TOUR INCLUDES

Professional naturalist guide & award-winning interpretation
Gear: Canoes, paddles, PFDs

PLEASE BRING

Layers: warm clothing including a shell jacket for variable weather
- Your guide will help you to board and launch your boat without getting your feet wet whenever possible, so feel free to wear long pants and athletic shoes.
Miscellaneous Gear: Water bottle, sunscreen, sunglasses, camera (protect electronics with a waterproof case/bag), daypack (optional)

Our canoes have two paddling positions and include room in the middle for a third non-paddling passenger. Canoe tours are best for all ages and skill levels. The weight limit per a canoe is 1100 lbs.
