Adventure: Wanderlust Tours is the premier destination to discover a sweet spot to view our gorgeous sunsets behind Oregon’s backbone, the Cascade Range on the edge of Bend, Oregon. Join us on this super hike for vistas that are life-enriching!

Naturalist Guided Experience: Somewhere in the forest, atop one of our local volcanoes, we’ll together reach ascents for red-splashed vistas filling our skies. Sunsets initiate a sense of peace at the day’s close. Usually a couple of miles with some elevation gain, our terrific guide will pick the right peak to climb to reward everyone with our globe’s days’-end rotation away from our bright star’s light. We’ll highlight the area’s flora, fauna and local history en route and provide a local beer or hot cocoa at our destination. We pick the amazing location you pick the beverage.

$120 per person | $85 per child (11 & Under)
Recommended for children 5 and older

Tour Time:
Typical departure is 2.5 hours prior to the setting sun, accordingly our departure time varies during the season. All start times listed below.

Tour Difficulty:
In order to garner the incredible panoramas we desire, our hiking trip will gain elevation (anywhere from 400-1000ft) on the way out and then lose that elevation on the way back! Although subjective, we rate our sunset hikes as easy to moderate. Total distance (round trip) will be between 3-4 miles.

Sun Protection: Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen (if needed)
Layers: warm clothing including a shell jacket for variable weather
Miscellaneous Gear: Water bottle, camera, daypack (optional)
